Community Voices NW Helpline
CURE:PNW is a project aimed at reducing and preventing political violence in the Pacific Northwest.
Who is the Community Voices NW Helpline for?
Concerned community members (family, friends, co-workers, etc.)
Individuals who are themselves frustrated or escalating/at risk
Who staffs the Community Voices NW Helpline?
Local individuals who have shared values and experiences and are trained in conflict coaching, de-escalation, and active listening
Reasons to call the Community Voices NW Helpline?
Help individuals process their grievances and feel heard so they don’t resort to violence as a way to solve political or public policy problems
Give resources, guidance, and support to those concerned about someone else they know at risk of escalating to politically related violence
